‘Gap it’ is something I have been testing recently and have been found super powerful both in my personal and professional life.
In a nutshell, ‘gap it’ is a life strategy where anything you want to do in life or profession, you do so well or better your closest competition can't imitate easily.
A good example would be buying a car. If, according to ‘Gap it,’ you want a car, get the best out there. The one you always wanted, the one not everyone drives.
Note - this is an example. Be responsible for how you spend your money.
Here is another one: any feature we planned to ship for adreport.io was either existent or our competitors could easily imitate. One of the main key indicators for us to choose features this sprint is to have at least one ‘gap it’ feature.
Eventually, the gap gets bigger, and it's hard to chase you down.
This concept isn't just for business strategies like in my SaaS journey with AdReport.io, where we aim to introduce features that set us apart. It's about applying this mindset in everyday decisions. From the hobbies you pursue to the goals you set, "Gap It!" means going for something distinctive and exceptional.
